Providing a professional and inclusive family environment
Founded in 1908 Quatt CC is a traditional English cricket
club based in the South East Shropshire countryside, located 4 miles from
Bridgnorth, 10 miles from Kidderminster and 11 miles from Stourbridge.
It has survived many years of good and bad times but has
always come through and continued to give pleasure to cricketers of all
abilities and backgrounds. The club has now established itself as the premier
village side within the area not only in playing strength but also with its
Like all clubs we offers both competitive and friendly
matches depending on a players preference. The ground itself is one of the
original village type grounds that you find dotted around the English
countryside and offers that rural feel to the game, whilst also offering modern
playing and training facilities. In 2012 our brand new state of the art
pavilion was officially opened by Ashes winning Captain, Mike Gatting. Since then we have also added a second pitch complete with its own state-of-the-art changing facilities.
In 2018 the 1st XI will compete in the Premier Division of the
Shropshire County League, the 2nd XI will compete in Reserve Division 1 and our
3rd XI will play in Reserve Division 3. We are also entered into the National Village Cup, a competition in which we reached the quarter final in 2010.
We have a successful Girls and Ladies set up. The
Women's 1st XI compete in the Midlands Women's Cricket League Division 2 and are entered into the inaugural National Women's Club T20 competition. We also have an Active Women's team that play on Thursday nights in the Shropshire Women's and Girls
League. We also regulary enter ECB softball competions on Sundays in the local area. Our Girls and Ladies section was established in 2001 and continues
to grow with players from all over Shropshire and the West Midlands now playing
for the team.
Our junior membership has grown to over 120 junior members and in 2018 we are running 6 junior teams. We will run an under 9's softball team, under 10's, under 11's, under 13's and under 15's hard ball teams as well as a Colts team entered into the local midweek adult league for older juniors. QCC caters for junior players of all ages, gender and ability. Everyone gets a game at QCC.
Above all Quatt Cricket Club offers an enjoyable atmosphere
and a sporting calendar that can be thoroughly enjoyed by all who take part. We
welcome all who would like to become part of our ever developing club.
